Everything New In GTA 6 Based On The Leaked Footage

GTA VI Fanmade Poster

This story has all the news about GTA 6 and information and rumors about when the game will come out, where it will be set, and what features it might have. GTA 6 is now officially being made. Rockstar Games revealed this on its blog at the start of the year by saying that work is well underway.

And that's all we should know about the next GTA since no other details have been made public. But now, a big leak of 90 videos with a lot of information about Rockstar's next big project has shaken up the development company and given a lot of information about it.

GTA 6 Release Date: When Will Grand Theft Auto 6 Come Out?

There have been several rumors about the release date of GTA 6. Most of them predict that the video game will be released in 2024. This is a pretty accurate prediction, backed up by the fact that distributor Take-Two expects a huge growth rate during this time.

Tom Henderson, a well-known leaker recognised for his accurate claims and reliable sources, poured gasoline to the fire that GTA 6 might be released in 2024. Henderson posted a video saying that he thinks GTA 6 will emerge between 2024 and 2025. He gives several reasons why this makes sense:

⦁ Rockstar altered their studio culture to include less crunch, meaning it will take longer to make games, but the team will be happier.

⦁ Henderson says the game will only be offered on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, so Rockstar Games may want to postpone it until the chip shortage is over, and more platforms are available.

⦁ GTA Online is still so famous that Rockstar wants to keep it going for a few more years before GTA 6 comes out and takes some of its popularity away.

These facts were confirmed by Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, among the most trusted insiders in the video game business.

Location & Setting: Return to Vice City

Rockstar Games has kept the setting of GTA 6 a secret so far, but rumors and leaks have given us a lot to go on again. Among the first big ideas about GTA 6 was that Vice City would return. Rockstar's made-up version of Miami could come back in the next game.

After reimagining Liberty City and Los Santos in the last two major games, GTA 6 could return to the last popular spot from the original trio from the 2000s. The famed September leak proved a rumor that had been going around for a long time and was one of several possible settings for the movie.

In some of the videos shown, you will observe clear references to Vice City, like the name of the city written on places like the metro in the game or specific places like palm trees in an urban setting. Even before the big leak, Jason Schreier said the game would take place in a made-up version of Miami and the area around it.

In addition to asking where GTA 6 will occur, players have also been curious about when it will occur. Some rumors say that at least part of the game could occur in the past. The early video of GTA 6 that was shared only showed a modern scene.

GTA 6 Story & Characters: Who Will We Play as?

GTA 6's story and personalities haven't been publicly announced yet. But thanks to the leaks, we now know that the most constant rumor was true: GTA 6 will have two main characters, one of whom will be a woman. Jason Schreier said this in his report on Rockstar that went viral. He said the woman would be Latina, and the story would be like Bonnie and Clyde.

This is true because the secret video showed these two main characters at work. One video showed them both robbing a restaurant at the same time. We also saw that Lucia is the main female character, and Jason is the main male character. Schreier says these are the only two people you can play as, but the video hasn't shown this yet.

A recent tip didn't talk about the main characters but rather about other people who could show up in GTA 6. In a post on Reddit that has since been taken down, a leaker said that Niko Bellic from GTA 4 and Michael De Santa from GTA 5 could appear in GTA 6.

It looks like Michael's voice actor, Ned Luke, is back at Rockstar Games. Some people think this might be for a GTA Online DLC. But in the past, GTA games liked bringing back characters from the first game, even if it was just for a small part. The same thing could happen with GTA 6.

Graphics & Technology

Some of the few things about GTA 6 that have been revealed to some degree have to do with how it works. Tobias Kleanthous of Rockstar Games presented at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2021. In it, he talked about the AI technology that the company had built.

His talk promised that AI behavior in future games, probably including GTA 6, would be much better and more advanced. Accidentally, another improvement in technology was shown.

Several current and past Rockstar Games workers put information about GTA 6 on their LinkedIn pages. There are smooth changes and Motion Matching among these. A cutting-edge technology that would render movements faster, more fluid, and more real.
