How to Use Midjourney AI?
Midjourney began a private beta only available by invitation at the beginning of March or late February once you applied on their website. I follow them on Twitter to be notified when invites are available. Then I was left waiting to see whether I was accepted. On March 13, 2020, I received an email invite with instructions for joining the private beta.
Their platform is based on Discord, so you'll need to get one if you don't already have an account there. You join their Discord Server in the same way you would any other. There are several Channels within which you may read orders, receive announcements, seek support, and, most importantly, create art. Yes, you create artwork on their Discord server.
The MidJourney Bot
The Midjourney bot created the artwork, which operates on their server. You give it text-based directions, and it generates four blurred photos as a little preview, from which you may choose one and generate a higher-resolution version.
